What can business learn from art?

Nothing. If we expect different results, and would always use the same tools, and in the same way, it is really the answer to the question in the title: nothing.

In today’s turbulent business environment we need innovation, new ways of thinking and fresh perspectives from different angles more often than ever before in order to see and solve complex problems. And that is exactly what art can do for business. Open new horizons, stimulate creativity, engage employees, and improve productivity. These are just some of the possible effects of the application, for business has often unexpected metaphors we find in the art, such as: aesthetics, giving up, limitations and provocations.

The subject of this lecture is a personal story and a reflection of how the business is associated with the arts and what we can learn from the paradigm of artistic creation and apply in business.
